Learning Responsibilities Plan
Third grade is a time of increased personal responsibilities for children. To support the children as they take on these responsibilities, we have developed the following plan including behavioral expectations, consequences, and rewards.
Our behavioral expectations will be based on the 3 B’s “Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe” and will be developed by the students on the first day of school.
Color Card System
Third grade uses a color card system in the classroom to promote and manage behavior. This allows students to be aware of their behavior and to know whether it is on track or needs to be adjusted. At the start of each day, each student will begin with a green card.
